Yoga
is an ancient practice of health and well being and in the
past few years the popularity of this practice exploded in
the western word for personal development and well being.
The signification of Yoga comes from the ancient Sanskrit
root word yug, which means "to unify". When practiced
regularly, yoga unifies body, soul and mind because there
all connect in a state of constant interaction. In this way,

Ashtanga
Vinyasa Yoga is characterized by the practice of a series
of yoga poses (asana) without stopping and accompanied by
Vinyasa or riding the breath in order to flow from

your inner power. Poses are done in a fast pace, some poses
are even held longer than required five breaths. This practice

increase fluidity in the joints and in this way promote flexibility
of the entire body. The body becomes more alert and the internal
organs are stimulated as well. The exercises involved in this
kind of yoga increase stamina, make the body more flexible,
correct structural and muscular imbalance caused by overuse
particular part of your body, improve heart efficiency, and
increase lung volume. It can benefit those who want to improve
their performance in particular sports like cycling, golf
and swimming. The sessions can be done in a heated room and
composed of rigorous cardiovascular exercises designed to
build strength and flexibility, improves your ability to focus,
release tension, increase stamina, tone your body and remove
toxins from your body through sweat. Mentally, the concentration
during the classes helps to manage stress trough the breathing
and the relaxation.
